In light of World Obesity Day on March 4th, listen in as our very own Tammy Nguyen, Medical Science Liaison, and Monique Walkinshaw, MRI Supervisor at the Vernon Jubilee Hospital, chat about considerations in scanning patients with obesity. In part 1 of this 2-part series, Monique discusses the importance of this topic, and technical/logistical aspects of MRI exams for this population – including patient positioning, machine limitations, contrast dosages, and how to optimize scan quality.
